Stuart Wines Company is managed by Hendra Widjaja. He brings to the company a wide range of business skills, having set up and operated a number of successful companies in Asia . Living on the company property in the Yarra Valley and managing vineyard operations, Hendra is also Marketing Manager (Export) for Stuart Wines Company and has developed an Asian distribution company in conjunction with three business colleagues.

Peter Wilson
Chief Winemaker

Our Chief Winemaker is Peter Wilson. Peter was the winemaker for Yarra Yering for 10 years and has been with Stuart Wines Company since vintage 2001. He is also one of Australia 's leading chocolatiers, with his company Kennedy & Wilson recognised as one of the finest chocolate producers in this country. Peter is dedicated to producing super-premium wines utilising traditional winemaking techniques, whilst employing the benefits of a modern, sophisticated winery.

Winery & Vineyard Staff

Our winery and vineyard staff are dedicated to implementing the ideals and the philosophy of the winemakers. The team adopts a cooperative approach to the grape growing and winemaking processes, where attention to detail is paramount in producing the highest quality wine possible. Led by Senior Winemaker Ben Osborne (a native Kiwi), our staff are able to utilise the outstanding facilities of the Whitebox winery to its full extent. There are four qualified winemakers in our winemaking team, with diverse experience in regional, varietal and stylistic winemaking techniques, ensuring a comprehensive knowledge base and that the utmost care is applied throughout the vinification process.
